Kimber micro 380 problems.
Remington / Gold Dot does quite well and this gun gets shot 5 magazine-fulls every two months. Yes, micro-380's are a challenge to shoot well and consistently, but it is not impossible, an awfully lot depends on the shooter, you know. And a Taurus can be just as reliable as anything else, properly serviced and fed.
Got this for my stainless Kimber Micro .380. Looks fantastic. Took it to the range once so far, but was working with a newbie,teaching him to shoot -- so forgot to check out the action of the new trigger. (oops.) The extra mag is so small, it is easy to carry in your pocket, That’s 14 rds available for an encounter, which is equal to or more than most of the popular concealed carry weapons, especially the new “wonder 9’s.”.cousinmark. I know the .380s are listed at 8 ft#s for the recoil spring. If I remember correctly the Micro 9s are in the 15# range. I'd expect one of our Micro 9 owners will chime in with a documented number. There were two main problems from the beginning that you can read about on lots of old reviews and comments under them. The main problem was the failure to return to battery. That was so common it was hard to find a review without that being mentioned.

I also installed a stronger magazine catch spring, sourced from Numrich. It was for a Sig P938 and is about 1/8" longer than the stock Kimber spring and fits with no problem.
