Just as a test, I just sent 10 emails to my friend's Gmail address in a row. I used a combination of sending them through the native Mac Mail app, the iOS Mail app, the Mac Outlook app and the outlook.com website. Seven of them winded up in the spam folder, while three went through to the inbox.
